Deo Gratias

Deo Gratias is Latin for “Thanks be to God.” Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big and small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude! Colleen at Thoughts on Grace has organized this meme and you can contribute by clicking here. This week I’m thankful for:

  • The caregivers who’re helping my aunt get better and caregivers the world over who provide kind, patient care.
  • A mild-ish winter.
  • The play, Rapture, Blister, Burn. I’m not sure it intended to, but it’s made me want to read Phyllis Shaffley’s work.
  • Warm apple cider – a great winter drink.
  • That my mother’s doing well in her recovery from back surgery and that my father is well and has taken on so much care-taking, which is outside his comfort zone.
