Deo Gratias

Deo Gratias is Latin for “Thanks be to God.” Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big and small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude! Colleen at Thoughts on Grace has organized this meme and you can contribute by clicking here. This week I’m thankful for:

  1. Getting to see the splendid exhibits at Shandong Provincial Museum.
  2. Getting my finals finished and catching up on work. It’s good to feel in control.
  3. Getting to go to Shannon’s for a pot luck dinner. She made a great cherry crisp in a rice cooker. Imagine! I like how we got to eat all these goodies people brought.
  4. The rain we got on Sunday afternoon and Monday, which is good for the flowers and cleans the air.

Great photos! I love the details in the beautiful clothing. YUM! Cherry Crisp! We have a cherry tree in our front yard & I’m looking forward to harvesting them in the coming week or so.
