A Thankful Woman’s Book of Blessings

On Wednesdays, Judy, creator of an inspiring blog, A Thankful Woman’s Book of Blessings encourages participants to list their blessings, to give thanks for the five things in the past week and then link to Judy’s blog.

Be sure to also check out her other blog and her website when you visit.

This week I am thankful for:

  1. Ginger tea. I’ve got a cold and this has helped me get through the day.
  2. Nyquil. I’ve run out but when I had a few I got a good night’s sleep easily. Otherwise I would have coughed all night.
  3. My students. They’re sweet and most seem to want to learn.
  4. Downton Abbey. I watched it again yesterday online. Such powerful, satisfying drama. I love characters with dignity.
  5. Sherlock. I got to see season 2 and it made me forget my cold symptoms.

YUM! I love ginger tea (& most anything w/ ginger in it!) Hope you’re feeling better.

So many people have been talking about Downton Abbey lately…I’ve got to see what all the fuss is about. It looks & sounds really good.

I have to check out Downton Abbey too.

Nyquil is my cold medicine of choice as well! Hope you feel better soon!

We are big #4 fans around here! (Minus the one or two inappropriate scenes that popped in here and there in a couple episodes.)

Ahhh, Ginger Tea…such a memory for me…’twas the only thing that kept my morning sickness (read: all day all night sickness) at bay with one of my pregnancies!

I ask God to bring you comfort and swift healing from your illness.

Thanks for sharing your blessings despite your discomfort:)
