Favorite Scripture Verses
Here are the rules:
- Write a post on your three favorite verses from the Bible and why you like them.
- Link back to this post.
- In your post tag three other bloggers to carry this theme forward, link to you and other bloggers.
As usual, I did not follow the rules by tagging anyone but instead, I invite all who read this to join in if you wish!

To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly[a]
with your God.
I like this because it encapsulates what I aim for daily. I love the simplicity of it.

Again, this is aspirational. It’s how I want to be.
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
I remember, or try to remember, this proverb when communication gets heated and angry. It has worked so beautifully. My culture tells me the opposite, that when I’m angry I should seek to win the argument.
